Metrics Achieves Record Growth

Metrics, Inc. achieved record growth in the first quarter, with revenues up 33%. The company also increased its workforce 6% during the quarter to 182 employees. Metrics began utilizing an additional 4,200 sq. ft. of analytical laboratory space and transferred maintenance into a new 3,200-sq.-ft. facility, representing a 17% expansion over its previous footprint of 44,000 sq. ft.

Metrics initially focused on contract analytical development work and has since expanded its services and capabilities. The company offers development and analytical equipment housed within a state-of-the-art complex. Built in 2000, its Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) facility has more than 114 analytical chemists and a team of 23 pharmaceutical development scientists and manufacturing technicians.
